Adam Tom

Principal Consultant

Growing up on a farm, Adam acquired a distinct fascination with trees. If he wasn’t climbing a tree, he was rolling over logs by the creek, looking for snakes and other wonders. Adam is a tree specialist, and found himself caught up in the sheer size and nature of tree life and all that worked together to support the tree’s ecosystem.

The Tree Doctor™ was established by Adam in 1992 and since then, has built a reputation for being just as our name suggests – Adam is a doctor of trees and he has become synonymous with delivering tree care and tree health solutions in all situations and environments across Queensland and Australia.

The Tree Doctor™ and his crew of expert tree care providers have made it their business to know how trees work and because of that, they know how to look after them.

Adam works hard to understand what makes a tree function and as a result, he is far better qualified to look after them. Adam’s knowledge encapsulates tree anatomy and physiology, tree identification tree identification, disease and pest management, how their systems work, how to keep them alive as long as possible and to preserve their heritage.
